Jersey Channel Island abuse case and the stinking attitude of some:
By © Linda Corby 18/03/2008
The Jersey Way and attitude:
As I walk the streets of Jersey I come across many Jersey people from
all walks of life. The majority of which share my views on
what has
happened to those who have suffered child abuse and possibly murdered.
We feel for them and want to see them get justice, we do not want to
see a cover up as our Chief Minister Frank Walker and his cronies
obviously do, and this is overwhelmingly the attitude of the majority
of islanders.
Unfortunately there are a select number of islanders who are callous,
heartless and far more interested in joining Frank Walker and his
click, who actually do care more about the islands reputation than
anything else (Especially in our finance sector or those with financial
investment in the island.)! I say shame on them because this
to me is
a totally inhuman and warped way to think. I cannot 100% blame them
with this attitude because they have been indoctrinated by the regime
system over many years and some possible don’t actually now
no any
better, they are like sheep to the slaughter, poor souls do not no what
they do!
Because Jersey has had for too many years what many would describe as
an in house media, meaning that the media were controlled by the
Establishment and strongly reported siding on the Establishment point
of view on all things, many of the people of the island have not been
privy to the real things that have been going on in the island. They
have been living under a false impression on far too much with many
lies by lack of the real information. The truth has been
twisted to
indoctrinated peoples opinions the media were controlled by the
Establishment and strongly reported siding on the Establishment point
of view on all things, and this has influenced who they vote for and
everything else you can think of in their minds.
There is real fear in the island, fear by some that if they don’t back our Chief Minister and his regime that somehow the islands finance sector will collapse and in consequence they will loose everything, because they have been indoctrinated in this way. These are only a minority of islanders now who think this way, but they are doing more harm than good to the island by not thinking for themselves.
I feel great sadness for those who have been literally
brainwashed by the regime.
Of course there are a percentage of people also that actually
couldn’t
care less, and just wish to cover up and forget about anything that
might not be good for the islands reputation and turning a blind eye to
them is their way of life.
The attitude of what one Recovery Service operator in the island called
‘the Jersey Way’, when he was caught out doing
favours for certain
Police officers in order to get extra tow in jobs. He lost his Police
work and the Officers in question also got their just deserts. I wonder
how many of these officers are the ones or behind the ones trying to
have a go at our wonderful and Courageous Ulsterman Jersey Police
deputy chief Lenny Harper, who deserves a medal in my book! Good on him
for being straight and true!
The best thing for all concerned is for the whole truth to come out in
its entirety, the guilty to be published properly by law. No
more
cover ups, no more corruption, no more behind closed doors unfair
unjust judgements, no more favours for friends or what that Recovery
Service Operator calls ‘The Jersey Way’ because his
‘Jersey Way’ is not
the real ‘Jersey way’ not the ‘Jersey
Way’ of the people of Jersey that
I know and love, not ‘my way’ either!
The best report I have read on this situation is by EILEEN FAIRWEATHER,
you can read her report in the Daily Mail Click
here
This is one very tenacious Lady reporter for whom I have the greatest
respect, and my heartfelt thanks for the work she has done to help the
abuse. How I wish we had some journalists with her abilities and
strength of character in Jersey to expose all the excrement that has
and does go on in the island (All the court cases that go on behind
closed doors that the public of the island rarely if ever get to know
about!)
I have my own theory on where some of the
none birth registered babies who might have disappeared or been
murdered at Jersey's 'Haut de la Garenne' actually came from, and why
we might never get 100% to the bottom of what went on in Jersey over
the years. I know of one baby who might have survived its illegal
caesarean birth in the 1970’s and could possible have ended
up anywhere
being abused, with no one to know this baby even existed, it could if
it survived have ended up as a toy for this paedophile ring. If I no of
one baby then there is a possibility that there could easily be many
more coming from the same source, through the same illegal activities
of some people, namely a Private Doctor who was operating at the
General Jersey Hospital for many years?
Quote eggnog’s comment: Well, just as the governor of ny was busted. In addition to the senator in the bathroom in MN. The list carries on. I spent a summer in the channel islands. My friend had a sailing yacht and I met alot of spectacular people and made alot of lifetime relationships. So what ever your on about, please turn it off. Life goes on. The article reads like a lifetime movie. It is ridiculous and you weren't the first to report it. End Quote:
My reply:
Oh eggnog, I would agree that monstrosities occur everywhere in the
world, but I am writing and keeping up to date for those who might not
be in my part of the world on issues they might otherwise not hear
about. I feel strongly that the sexually or otherwise abused and
possible murdered victims of the child abuse case under investigation
in Jersey, Channel Islands gets justice, and that the crimes committed
against them are not brushed under the carpet by the secretive, sly and
very corrupt click of Establishment government regime in power in
Jersey today, believe me the whole system stinks!
You say you spent a summer in the Channel Islands, well I have spent
over 40 years living here in all walks of life, so I feel I can safely
say I know a considerable amount more than you do on how this island is
run, and what actually goes on behind closed doors here. I am not at
liberty to report on everything I know about first hand right now,
because it would put me in breach of confidence, and could even at some
future point in time interfere with a Police investigation, and for
reasons that are personal to the victims of crime involved in these
crimes.
So what if you have a friend in Jersey with a sailing yacht, I have
loads of friends here with sailing yachts, big deal. I used to go to
the Jet set parties back in the 60’s and 70’s in
Jersey, and yes they
even included an ex States Senator who has been accused in this case,
all people who you might well think of as spectacular, that I would
probably just classify as people, but then I am a Tax Exiles daughter
and I don’t automatically feel admiration for anyone just
because they
have the finances to enable them to behave in a impressive manner, it
takes more than wealth or the lifestyle that comes with it to make an
impression on me.
You say you have made a lot of lifetime relationships out of the people
you met on this sailing Yacht of your friends, well bully for you, so
what? Your friends hopefully and very probably have nothing
to do with
the child abuse that has gone on in the island, and I do feel sorry for
them if they feel tarnished in some way by what has happened. I have
friends in the same situation and it isn’t nice, but
unfortunately
these things happen.
You say ‘So what ever you’re on about, please turn
it off. Life goes
on.’ Oh my God, what an uncaring, heartless and disgusting
thing to say
in my opinion. I am sorry but if you had actually read my article
through properly you have to be totally callous to come out with
this.
I am defending people who have been abused as children in every which
way and possibly even murdered, without media exposure there would in
my opinion no chance of them ever getting real justice, and in my view
along with that of many other islanders they certainly won’t
get
justice in Jersey if their cases are judged under the present system in
the island. Yes life goes on, but just how life goes on for these poor
exploited by the Jersey way abused and possibly murdered victims will
largely depend on just how fairly their cases are judged, and that
won’t be very justly under the present system in Jersey in my
view and
that of untold others including Jersey islanders.
My article reads like a lifetime movie does it, well so be it, because
the victims have had a lifetime of pain through having the crimes
against them ignored, and covered up for too many years, so this may
well be why my article came over to you this way.
You say ‘It is ridiculous and you weren't the first to report
it.’ I
might not have been the first to report it, so what? I will
not be the
last, because guess what, we are not all heartless ******** some of us
actually care about the fate of those less fortunate!
